About Affiliated Staffing Group

Affiliated Staffing Group (ASGroup) was started in 1995 by Roy Fazio, a partner of Protocall Staffing Services in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The notion of an industry-specific network group surfaced at a staffing industry vendor-training meeting attended by several non-competing staffing companies where a wealth of information was shared.

The desire to share systems and processes with like staffing companies to keep its competitive edge in the market would be an awesome competitive advantage for any independent staffing company. ASGroup formed with eight of the attending companies with a mission to share "best practices" and provide a shared training and networking environment for the member company key managers.

Today, ASGroup is comprised of over 25 non-competing and fast growing staffing companies in 27 states with over 150 offices. Members share regional national contracts, customer referrals, and significant savings in vendor contracts for frequently used staffing industry services and products. ASGroup owners and their key managers meet three times a year with meeting agendas designed by the membership.

ASGroup members have secured regional contracts to include fellow members that have resulted in thousands of dollars in new revenue. At a recent meeting, the group initiated a "Trump Apprentice Program" where teams were chosen amongst key managers to compete in an RFP and a proposal presentation. The proposals became models to be used by members in which two members used the materials and gained million dollar contracts with hospitals in their market. In an executive roundtable, "Issues and Opportunities" session, one owner was able to make a key business decision that enabled him to design a process for incentives that enhanced his retention.

ASGroup has secured contracts with job posting boards that have cut costs by over 50%. Contracts with background check companies, drug testing companies, and office supply companies have saved each member tens of thousands of dollars.

Member companies have received awards in their market places including the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company, Pinnacle Award Winner, Top 10 Best Employers in the state to work for, Woman of the Year Award, Top 50 Employers in their state, and many more.
