MARY KRAFT WINS BRAVO AWARD
Mary Kraft, founder and president of Mary Kraft & Associates, provider of office staffing solutions in the Baltimore metropolitan area, has been named as a recipient of the Bravo Business Achievement Award by Baltimore SmartCEO magazine. Kraft was one of 25 women business owners in the greater Baltimore area selected for making unprecedented strides in business and building a stronger community financially, philanthropically, and through leadership. The Bravo awards program serves to increase the visibility and recognition of extraordinary business women in the area.
“Giving back is our mission at Mary Kraft & Associates, Inc.,” says Kraft, who created the firm 18 years ago. “Along with my team of dedicated professionals, we embrace the challenge of providing employment opportunities for over 1,000 office support employees each year, solve staffing challenges for hundreds of companies in the Baltimore region, and support community programs to encourage a better lifestyle for citizens of our communities.”
Kraft, along with the other award recipients, will be honored at an awards ceremony on July 19, 2007 at the Padonia Park Club in Cockeysville, and will be highlighted in the July issue of the Baltimore Smart CEO magazine.
Mary Kraft & Associates was recently named a Top Woman Owned Business by DiversityBusiness.com, a 30,000-member organization of diversity-owned businesses throughout the United States that provide goods and services to Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies and colleges and universities. In addition, Mary Kraft & Associates recently became an affiliate of the Armed Forces Connection (AFC), a free service for veterans and their families to ensure a smooth transition from military service to civilian employment.
Kraft has provided staffing expertise to companies in the Baltimore metropolitan area for more than 30 years. She spent 17 years with a national temporary staffing service’s Baltimore franchise before opening Mary Kraft & Associates in 1989. Currently, she and executives of the firm are active members in more than 16 different business, community and industry organizations. |
